Euan Hurley has been on an adventure with Unifiedpost Group. From starting within our production team to working his way up to Business Development Manager. Euan’s transition through the company says a lot about his personality and about the developments at Unifiedpost Group. This is why we want you to get to know Euan.

Euan started working with Unifiedpost Group in 2016. Before the UK operation had become a Unifiedpost Group entity.
Euan saw an opportunity to apply for a role as a Production Operator as part of the Production team. At the time print and post was the driving force of the business, meaning that the Production team was expanding at a fast rate. Euan applied as he could see the role as a stable opportunity.
It was clear to Euan that the company was not slowing down. He knew that moving to the Production team would mean career progression and stability. Euan was also keen to develop his skills and training within print and post to see where this could develop.
In 2017, an opportunity within the Business Support team arose. The Business Support team takes care of our customers and facilitates ongoing customer jobs. Due to the growing success of the business the team needed another member. Euan applied and successfully worked within the Business Support team for three years.
Euan said that this was an easy move for him to make. After working within the Production team, he wanted to get to know the people behind the work he was creating. He also knew that his production knowledge would help support customers even better.
In 2020, Euan transitioned through the company again. A Business Development role became available within the Sales & Marketing team. At this point, the UK had become part of the Unifiedpost Group team. It was clear to the business and team that we were accelerating towards digital and multichannel solutions. Euan therefore took the position as Business Development Manager to help new and existing customers realise the potential of multichannel, digital solutions.
As one of Unifiedpost Group’s Business Development Managers, Euan’s role is to not only grow the business but to show existing customers how else their admin and financial processes can be simple and smart.
As Euan started his Business Development role before the first lockdown, he has had quite a different experience. No face to face meetings and a lot more video calls. Euan’s role did however start at the right time. Due to the lockdown, customers needed document distribution solutions quickly in place. From multichannel communication portals to hybrid mail solutions. Euan stepped up to the challenge and delivered customers solutions during the difficult time.
Now that the UK is opening back up, and customers are going back into their offices, it is an exciting time in Euan’s role.
“For many customers, a lot of projects were on-hold during the pandemic. Now businesses are starting to address better workplace solutions and are looking to see what digital transformation can do for them.”
Even though Euan is well suited for a role helping clients realise new solutions, there are still challenges. Getting in front of the right people and detailing to new customers how far their solutions can take their business can be difficult at first. However, once customers see demos of Unifiedpost Group solutions, there isn’t much more convincing to do.
As Euan has worked in different areas of the business, he can see how quickly the business is changing and adapting to the needs of the market. The business has shifted from a predominantly print and post set-up to focusing on digital solutions and digital needs of the market.
Unifiedpost Group is expanding at a huge rate, which means the solutions are too. Euan sees how the business is analysing the market and creating solutions to fit business needs. All to make sure businesses have simple and smart administrative and financial processes.
