To support the UK growth plans we are now recruiting a Project Manager to be based at our UK headquarters in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. This is an opportunity for an aspiring project manager with at least two years’ experience to be part of an exciting stage in the development of one of Europe’s fastest growing Fintech companies and to support the delivery of both internal and external projects in the UK.

The role:

This role will provide the opportunity to work with a broad selection of clients and be part of a dynamic and growing team. Our projects stretch across a broad range of businesses, so there really is no limit to the range of projects you could be working on.

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables and success criteria
  • Management of projects in line with the defined project management methodology and standards
  • Creation of project plans to identify tasks, deliverables, milestones and resources, ensuring that appropriate documentation is in place
  • Escalation of issues to keep the wider project team and appropriate stakeholder groups informed
  • Management of risks, aligned to appropriate accountabilities, impact and mitigating actions
  • Capture lessons learned in alignment with the delivery methodology in order to support continual improvement initiatives

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Positive outlook and a ‘hands-on, can-do’ attitude
  • Creative mind, ability to develop ideas and contribute to the company’s success
  • A recognised Project Management qualification, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM
  • Minimum of two years experience
  • Successful project-based work experience essential, must be able to give examples
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage meetings, workshops and presentations with groups of people
  • Strong Word / Excel / PowerPoint skills (Microsoft and Google)
  • Skilled in problem solving, decision making and have sound judgement with the confidence to be assertive when necessary
  • Ability to see the big picture and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work with people at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Accustomed to working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work

Reporting to: CEO in the first instance.

Details: This is a Permanent Contract. Full time, Mon-Fri 37.5hrs/week, with the possibility of working outside working hours when required.

Location: Manchester office based.
